About My Stay FAQs
Location Details
You’ll receive the exact location of our Outpost in your booking confirmation email.
What’s included in my room?
Here’s a detailed look at what’s included:
- A stay for two to four guests, depending on the cabin type booked.
- AC/Heat: Stay comfortable in any weather.
- Fresh bed linens and fluffy pillows: for a good night’s sleep.
- A full bathroom equipped with bath towels and biodegradable shower products.
- A full kitchen includes a stove, a mini fridge, and basic kitchenware.
- Private outdoor area: with a fire pit, picnic table, and, depending on the cabin, two or four Adirondack chairs around the fire pit.
What are the differences between the types of rooms?
Our cozy, tiny cabins are designed to give you the perfect space to recharge.
- 1-Bed Cabins: Queen-sized bed, accommodating up to 2 adult guests.
- 2-Bed Cabins: Two queen-sized bunk-style beds, accommodating up to 4 adult guests.
- Cabin Size: Approximately 12’ wide, 16 9” long, and 8’ 6” high, with a total area of about 150-200 square feet.
What do I need to bring?
Our tiny cabins also include all the essentials you’ll need—fresh linens on a queen bed with pillows and blankets, towels, and a hot shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash from Pharmacopia, kitchen cooking supplies, and provisions for purchase. For the chefs and foodies, keep in mind that bringing large cooking appliances may over-complicate things and take up precious space. See the full list of what’s in our cabins here.
Do you offer grills? How do I cook?
Each cabin includes a two-burner stovetop and essential cookware, including utensils, plates, a pot, and a pan. You’ll also find a grill grate over the fire pit for outdoor cooking.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes. Dogs are welcome with a $50 cleaning fee. Add your dog during booking or call Marriott at +1 (888) 236-2427 to update your reservation.
Do cabins have electricity?
Yes. All cabins include power outlets for charging and electricity throughout.
Is there WiFi at Postcard Cabins?
- Cell Service: Due to the secluded nature of our outposts, cell phone service may be spotty or unavailable. Embrace the opportunity to unplug and relax.
Is staff available on-site?
Our 24/7 Guest Experience Team is always available via your cabin’s landline or SMS.
Do you offer daily housekeeping?
Cabins are cleaned before each arrival. Daily housekeeping is not available. If you need anything during your stay, our support team is available 24/7 via the cabin’s landline or SMS.
Is there parking?
Yes. Each cabin has one designated parking spot.
Can I bring a tent or RV?
Our campgrounds are not designed for RVs or towable vehicles. Class A diesel motorhomes, Class A gas motorhomes, Class C motorhomes, and the following towable vehicles—fifth-wheel campers, toy haulers, travel trailers, pop-up campers, Airstreams, truck campers, teardrop trailers, LSVs, or golf carts—are prohibited. Class B motorhomes (camper vans) are allowed.
What can I do if it rains?
Many of our guests enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of rainy days at our Outposts. We provide reading material and a deck of cards, and we recommend bringing board games, puzzles, a journal or other books to enjoy a cozy day inside.
Can I request a cabin near my friends?
Yes. Book each cabin separately, then email us your request. We'll do our best to accommodate, though cabin proximity is not guaranteed.
Will a pack-and-play fit in the cabin?
Cabins are about 150 square feet. While a pack-and-play may technically fit, it would block pathways and is not recommended.
Do rooms have air-conditioning and running water? Can I shower in my room?
- All of our cabins are equipped with AC and heat.
- Hot water is available in all cabins, although it is limited. The duration of heat may vary depending on the external temperature. In cold weather, it will last about 5 minutes for a quick shower or dish wash, and you'll need to allow 30 minutes between uses for it to regenerate.
- The water in the cabins is drinkable and unlimited, as all of our Outposts and cabins run off a city feed.
Are cabins secure?
Yes. Each cabin is equipped with a digital lock featuring a unique key code that resets for each stay, and all cabins include shades that fully cover the windows. Our team is available 24/7 if needed, and every cabin is equipped with a landline for emergency calls.
What are your policies on campfires, noise, and trash?
Guest safety and an enjoyable experience are top priorities. Never leave campfires unattended, and don’t leave food or trash outside. Please avoid playing music or making excessive noise outside your cabin or campsite.
What happens when there is a burn ban?
Burn bans may be in effect at certain locations due to wildfire conditions. In accordance with the Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and local government mandates, use of fire pits or any kind of open flame is strictly prohibited during these times.
Can I smoke or vape outside my unit?
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside. You may smoke outdoors 25 feet from all buildings. Please dispose of waste properly. A $250 fine will be charged for each night the cabin is out of service due to indoor smoking.
