What’s Inside of Our Cabins
Is there cell phone reception at the cabins?
Because of the secluded nature of our locations, cell phone service may be a little spottier than normal. You may not get any reception at all—if this is the case, embrace the opportunity to unplug and relax. Each of the cabins is equipped with a landline for calls to the Postcard Cabins team or to 911 in case of emergency.
Is there a designated area to park?
In most cases, you can feel free to park right next to your cabin. Other sites will have designated parking spaces about 150 feet away from each cabin.
Are other cabins around?
Yes, all of our locations feature dozens of private cabins. We work hard to make sure each cabin has its own space, but expect to see other cabins on the land.
How does the water supply work?
Most of our locations are connected to a city water supply. However, at some of our Eastern Catskills cabins, water is more limited, with around 150 gallons available per stay. With mindful use, this should last you about four nights. Please note that hot water is limited in all cabins, providing about five minutes of use per shower, with a 30-minute regeneration time between uses.
Is the water drinkable/potable?
Yes, the water is drinkable/potable.
Can I set up a tent near my cabin?
To maintain the peaceful atmosphere and ensure privacy for all our guests, we kindly ask that tents not be set up near cabins.
